EWTN is now live on SKY channel 589 as a freeview channel, making this excellent and fully Catholic television channel available to over seven million viewers in the UK.
This station explains the Catholic faith in all its glory, and includes daily mass, prayers, news, current affairs, chat shows, teaching, children's programs and movies.
EWTN was begun in 1981 by Mother Angelica, in Alabama, USA, under the first TV broadcasting licence granted to a monastery.
