The life of the Venerable Leo Dupont, known as the 'Holy Man of Tours', apostle of the Holy Face devotion. Classic, beautiful story of the saintly man who prevented from being a priest due to a slight deformation of his hand became a lawyer. He learned of the visions of the Carmelite nun St Marie of St Peter, and began to burn a vigil lamp continuously before a picture of the Holy Face of Jesus based on the painted image on the Veil of Veronica. He promoted the devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus for 30 years before it was approved by the church shortly before his death.
