The Life of Venerable Margaret of the Blessed Sacrament. First published in 1892, this book has long been out of print. It is the life of the Carmelite nun who was inspired to compose the well-known and beloved Chaplet or Little Crown of the Infant Jesus. The Vicar General and President of the Commission for the Cause of Sister Margaret praised the book, remarking that it "...offers a precious food to Christian piety in the faithful and simple summary of the deeds, wonders, virtues and trials which characterized this holy Religious and pointed her out as being predestined to spread and propagate the devotion to the Divine Infancy of Our Lord Jesus Christ. The notes which explain and the reflections and considerations which accompany it, always conformable to the teachings of the Church, recommend themselves still more by an appropriate application of the Holy Scriptures...." The book also includes fine indulgenced prayers for the veneration of the Child Jesus and mystery of the Holy Infancy.
