Set of 5 advent candles - 12 inch x 2 inch (30 x 5 cm). Three purple, 1 rose and 1 white. The purple represents Penance - preparing the way, one of which is lit on the first, second and fourth Sundays of Advent. The rose candle is lit on the third Sunday (Gaudete Sunday), representing joy. Finally the white candle is lit on Christmas morning, 'The Birth of Christ', the 'Light of the World'.
