Study Guide to the Commentary on the Lord's Prayer of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. This book was commissioned by the Maryvale Institute in 1996. It is designed to assist people making a serious study of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The subject matter is the final section of Part IV of the Catechism: on the Lord's Prayer. Access to a copy of the Catechism, and to a Bible, is assumed throughout. The Study Guide has however been widely praised as forming itself a most accessible treatise and guide on the ways of prayer. The text is arranged so that people will spend four weeks studying the Lord's Prayer, at the rate of around 45 minutes each day.
