Cenacle is a family-run business, providing traditional Catholic supplies by mail order.  As well as a wide range of books of interest to Catholics, we supply Catholic articles such as rosaries, crucifixes, statues, lamps, incense burners, prayer cards, medals, as well as gifts for Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation and any other occasion.

We welcome enquiries from schools, churches and repositories, as well as private individuals.

History of Cenacle Catholic Books and Gifts

With a background as a Secular (Lay) Carmelite, in 2002 I felt called to turn my passion for religious books - new and old - into an apostolate, providing mail order Catholic books, with a special interest in Carmelite literature, prayer and contemplation. Fortunately my wife, Catherine, as a software designer, had the necessary skills to build and run the website.

We could also fully indulge our interest in Catholic devotional objects, such as statues, rosaries, icons, prayer cards, by having a shop full of them.   Also as parents of young children, we realised the necessity of teaching the Catholic faith, and holding onto traditional Catholic values, including the many beautiful Catholic devotions and studying the lives of the Saints.

We also run a non-profit centre: The Holy Face Devotion (UK).
